The New Kid On The Block
We’re not here to play it safe — we’re here to change the game.
Ji was born in Toronto, but the idea started way earlier — with a simple question:
Why does South Asian food in Canada always have to be heavy, greasy, and stuck in the past?
We grew up loving the bold, smoky, spiced-up flavours of home — but we also saw what was missing: speed, freshness, and a modern touch.
So we got to work.
We built Ji from scratch — no shortcuts, no copy-paste menus — just a fire to create something new.
Our food is rooted in strong tandoori bases and real South Asian taste, but we serve it with a Canadian mindset: quick, clean, customizable, and unapologetically bold. Whether you’re on a 30-minute lunch break or just want to eat good without crashing after, Ji delivers the hit — without the heaviness.
We’re a young team, but we move fast.
We’re not afraid to take risks, rewrite the rules, or fusion tradition with something fresh.
This isn’t your parents’ curry joint — this is Ji: modern South Asian food that moves with the city.

THE TL;DR
We’re a young, driven team rewriting what South Asian food looks like in Canada.
Tired of the same old greasy, heavy dishes, we built Ji to be fast, fresh, and bold — with strong tandoori roots and a modern, Canadian twist.
No shortcuts, no compromises — just real flavour made to move with the city.
